Hi, Bev, I have a John H. Brown born in KY 7/8/1836, d. in Meade Co., KY 3/15/1873. He married Lucy Lewis 2/13/1859 in Meade Co., KY. Their children were: Cordelia, Finley, David, Laura J., Sally, Lee, and Victoria. I can trace this line down from their daughter Cordelia, and have John H.'s parents all the way back to George Browne in MD in early 1700's. I wonder if this John H. could be the grandfather of your John Albert Brown. It would be great to make a connection!
