Hello Rooters: I am trying to chase down Nathan Brown, b. abt 1800 in VT and his wife, Sabrina Dutton, b. abt 1801 in VT. With this couple, the 1850 census of Windsor, Windsor Co.,VT lists Lucia Brown, age 22, and William H. Brown, age 10. The 1870 Census of Windsor, lists Nathan and Sabrina, and a female named Geogia Brown, age 20, and William H. Brown, age 31. Was Georgia the wife of William? The 1880 census no longer lists Georgia, and has William as either widowed or divorced. Later records show William married to Clara M. Vadney. Does anyone have any information concerning this Brown Family in Windsor, Windsor Co.,VT? I really need some help with this family ! Arline

Arline, I may have your Brown. I have Nathaniel b. 7 Aug 1801 to Absalom and Abigail BROWN in Strafford, Orange, VT. Nathaniel's sister, Lorenza, married my Asa FRINK of Hartford, Windsor. I believe Abigail was a BEAN. I have the other children as well all copied from Strafford town records. Since Windso and Orange share a border it is very likely that this is your Nathaniel.
