Nancy Ann Lemmond b. 7/4/1839 in Ga., d. 9/13/1912 Ga. Children are Joyce Ann, Mary, James, Polly, Henry, Susan, Maggie, Mattie, Willis O. or F., and William L. (Willis and Willam or twins). As the story goes, Martin, William and John Brown were brothers, Martin and William married sisters, Mary and Nancy Ann Lemmond. Parents of Mary and Nancy Ann Lemmond were Joysey Colley b. 7/6/1788 d. 11/16/1898 (yes that is 110 years old she is burried with William and Nancy Brown) m. William Lemmond.     2. I am hoping that someone may recognize E. H. Brown b.Maine c.1833 and was married to Elenor b.VA. They are in the 1870 Fed. Census for MO.,Marion Twp., Jasper Co.,. There may be a PARKER connection to E.A. Parker, b. 1874 in MO. They moved in and around MO. and Ft. Scott, KS. Given names used in our family during this era included EDWIN and HARRISON. E. H. Brown is known to have been a principal player in the early days of railroading and zinc mining in Missouri.

I am looking for descendants of Sarah and George. I have information on Sarah's Davis family as she was my grandfather's sister. Sarah's father was Alfred Davis and George's father was Henry Brown a retired farmer. George's age was 41 yrs., a widower, a post office clerk and his residence 1 Letchmore Villas, Cheltenham at the time of his marriage to Sarah.     3. Good evening, List Members, During my research I came across some NC BROWN genealogy listed in a series called "Historical Southern Families" by Broddie. I know there are at least 3 volumns. In Vol. II, pg. 72 there is some info about descendants of a John and Mary BROWN from Isle of Wight, VA who came to Chowan Precinct in North Carolina soon after 1706. Also, same Vol, pg. 73 are BROWN of Duplin, NC. Those of you having NC ancestors might find something in these volumns.
