They married in Jennings Co, IN in 1850 and had William N., b 1854, Julia Ann b 1856 and Clark b 1858. They lived in Ill, Ia and wound up in Tonkawa, Kay Co, OK in 1895. Hello! I am trying to find information on the parents of James. James married Mary Ann Wynn Lyons on March 16 1830 in Montgomery Co. TN. All I have found is a Bentley Brown for his father but I really can't link the two. All I can find on Bentley is that in 1810 he was in Hanover Co. VA. I also show that Bentley is the son of Benjamin Brown JR b. 1740 and Susanna Jarman b. 1748, both of VA. I am unable to prove this though. Searching for info on William Brown b. 1815 d. 1863 in Armagh County. William was a jail keeper so no doubt he lived in Armagh City (unless there are other jails in the county). After William died, Sarah and the children immigrated to Canada. They ended up living in Muskoka County, Gravenhurst, Ontario and Parry Sound, Ontario. After many years some migrated to Manitoba. The children's names were: John Stinson b. 1844 William Henry b. 1847 James b. 1841 Sarah Ann b. 1860. If anyone has information I'd be ever so grateful for you to pass it on. I was given a book early on in my statistics course in college which the professor used to make a point, - it was called "How to Lie with Statistics." By the way, my husband's brother-in-law sent an immediate reply to our letter, saying he would provide a waiver to acknowledge that the genealogy papers were given to us. He didn't say anything about having Fran sign off on the agreement on the book though. I think the who issue was a "smoke screen", that is a diversion to get Pete concerning about the genealogy, so he would be ready to sign off on the Trust. And he won on that. We will probably go ahead and settle on the estate, just to get on with our lives. Hi All, Thought I would post my brickwall once more. I am searching for any info on Lydia Brown b abt 1775 in NY. Does anyone have her in their Family Tree? I have no info on her parents or sibling's. I only know the state of birth, and not the town/city. I would appreciate, very much, any help in locating anything about her. Thanks so much. Oliver says this tree comes from IGI and sources are listed there. Please note these corrections: Buckingham Browne arrived in America about 1704 (when he filed to a letter of attorney in Essex Co. Court), so his first two children were born in England and his son died there. His son Samuel sold his land in Essex Co., VA in 1754 and bought land in Cumberland Co., VA in 1755 so it is likely that all of his children were born in Essex Co.
