Hi, Does anyone have information on B. W. BROWN in UNion Arkansas 1850, Liberty TX 1860, Jack County, TX 1870, and also in TX in 1880. I believe that this man might be a brother or close relative of my John Wiley Brown b. 1822 Alabama d. 1861-1864. B W and John both served (i think its the same men) in the 11th Reg Com F. Infantry from Texas, also called Spaight's Battallion. If anyone knows anything, I would greatly appreciate hearing from them. Thank you, Jason __________________________________________________ Do You Yahoo!? Get email at your own domain with Yahoo! Mail. http://personal.mail.yahoo.com/

Hi All, Does anyone have information on the BROWNs who lived in Liberty County, TX in the 1860 census? Also, there is a John M BROWN who was in Union County, Arkansas in 1850, and Claiborne Parish, LA in 1860. He was born abt 1815 in GA. He seems to have followed same migration pattern as my 3rd great grandfather, John Wiley BROWN. They both pattented land in Claiborne Parish in 1853. I know that they are not Father/son because they are both abt the same age. I am wondering if they might be cousins. Any help will be greatly appreciated. Hi All, I am looking for descendants of William Andrew Brown and his wife Margaret Jane MOORE. They were in North Zulch TX, which is in Madison County, TX from 1880 till there deaths. I know that they had several daughters, one named Arizona BROWN, who I think moved to Cherokee County, TX. I also know that they had a son named John Wiley BROWN named after William's father, John Wiley BROWN. Any help will be greatly appreciated. I am trying to organize a family reunion of the descendants of John Wiley BROWN and Mary BLACKWELL for this summer. Thanks, Jason __________________________________________________ Do You Yahoo!? does anyone know how to post a picture on the net so i can ask who the picture is. thank you
The way to do that is to scan it in a scanner, and then put it on your web page, and then send the URL of the picture out to the list. If you don't have a scanner, send it to someone who does, and will do that for you. If you don't have a web page, see if someone who does have one will put it on their page, and again, send the URL to the list. don Don Erickson, Colorado Springs CO don_erickson@pcisys.net www.pcisys.net/~don_erickson ----- Original Message ----- From: <MHoltz1119@aol.com> To: <BROWN-L@rootsweb.com> Sent: Wednesday, February 28, 2001 10:13 AM Subject: [BROWN] pictures > does anyone know how to post a picture on the net so i can ask who the > picture is. thank you >
Corey, I, for one, do not think that a Brown celebrating a 100th. Birthday anniversary is inappropriate. Thanks for letting us know.
