    1. [BROWN] Brown RI and...
    2. Hello Group, Just subscribed so thought I would put my name out there. I am researching an Anne Marie Brown of Scituate RI. She married William T Clarke abt 1870. Smithfield RI Today I may have found her family on a 1860 RI Census: She was the only Anne Marie in the index for Brown's of Scituate. This particular family were all born of NY. This may explain why I can not locate any vital record for her here in RI! Any comments or suggestions are appreciated. Take a look at my site and sign my guest book-never know who may be looking for you! 2. Jim Pratt
    3. Hello BROWN Researchers, I'm hoping someone can tell me something about the Cater BROWN household on the 1830 Barnwell Dist. S.C. census. They are the last family listed on page 189. They are enumerated under the column as "Free Colored Persons". There are 9 persons listed in the household. One of those is a female child under the age of 10. A cousin of mine told me that this child could be our GG Grandmother, Sarah Ann BROWN, born in Barnwell Dist. in 1826. All info much appreciated. Thanks........Jim Pratt

    3. I am searching for more about Mortimer BROWN b. 1870 Hot Springs (Garland) Arkansas; married James Madison ROUSE there 9 Nov. 1884. She died 9 Feb. 1937 in Hot Springs. Her parents were F.D. BROWN and Mollie HURT (no further information). Mortimer supposedly once ran a well-known dairy on the outskirts of Hot Springs...from what I understand, the dairy was taken into the city of Hot Springs years ago. Perhaps she inherited the dairy from her father. Any help would be appreciated. Thank you. Midge
