    1. Re: [BROWN] Browns of Redford & Carmyllie
    2. To Alistair Bell I have just been reviewing the above Ref Browns. We may have some connections My line of Browns a Benjamin Brown b. 1780Va we have no record of who his parents were or any members of his family They Migrated to Ga by the early 1800's from this time we have census records untill his death in Spalding Co Ga in the 1860 's Benjamin Brown's family we have a Robert Brown b 1804 and a William Brown b 1810 these names are in ever generation which leads me to believe that in the early days of Va this Benjamin Browns father could have been a William or a Robert Brown , these names iare showing in your mesage in the 1780's as being from Redford & Carmyllie We have no record of proof that our relative came from Scotland ????? Any Information you may provide will be greatly appreciated An Thanks, Paul W Brown Orlando ,Fl E mail Address [email protected]_ (mailto:[email protected])

One day, I put his name in Google and up came...........The ship, and on the passengers list there he was with his parents and siblings. So hang in there! 1. [BROWN] Brown - Nelson, Hardin & LaRue Counties, Kentucky
    2. M. Kathleen Felsted
    3. Hello, I am new to the list. I am a direct descendant of James and Mary Matchett Brown who appeared in Nelson/Hardin County in 1791 or earlier. A genealogy cousin and I have 10 children for James and Mary (some without names). I am looking for other cousins to help sort out their children and grandchildren. I am also very interested in finding descendants to Daniel Clinton Brown and/or his brother, William Gilbert Brown, who were born in Kingston, Idaho and died in Spokane, Washington. They were my grandmother's brothers. She was Mary Idaho Brown. Thanks! Kathie -- M. Kathleen Felsted [email protected]

His wife, Margaret, was born in TN abt 1826 and both sons, Taylor(or maybe Tyler) brn abt 1848 and Dave A. brn abt 1849 were born in TN. I have no idea where in TN. Some think maybe Hickman Co., TN. 1. [BROWN] Irvin BROWN in NC/SC and Williamson and Maury Co., TN
    2. I'm searching for the parents of Irvin BROWN. Believe he was born about 1813 in NC or possibly SC. The earliest documentation related to him I've found is his 1839 marriage license in Maury Co., TN where he wed Parthena JOHNSON. They are recorded in the 1840 Williamson Co., TN census, and in the 1850 and 1860 Maury Co., TN census. They had three sons listed in the 1850 census: Richard 9, William 7, and Thomas 2. In 1866 Irvin married Parthena's younger sister Lucy JOHNSON in Maury Co., TN -- and then they seem to have disappeared. Through DNA testing, Irvin's line has been associated with a family line living in Bladen Co., NC and Marlboro Co., SC in the mid to late 1700s. Unfortunately, so far we have been unable to find and document that connection. Does anyone recognize Irvin? Any additional information would be very welcome and certainly appreciated. 2. Karen Conroy
    3. Hi, I am new to the list and was wondering if anyone else is connected to this line. One of Clark and Tabitha's son's was Orus Brown born in 1800 in Massachusetts who had 15 children. His thirteenth child was Henry Chester Brown, my great great grandfather. Henry was born in 1852 in Forest Grove, Oregon. Henry married Nancy English in 1879 and they had two daughters, one of whom died as a toddler. The one who survived was my great grandmother, Eva Leona Brown born 1 April 1880. I have the book by Ella Brown Spooner about this line. Karen
