Looking for relatives of Judge Darius Brown of KC, MO in the 1800s. njp
I don't know as I haven't done any work on him. All I know is a Valentine Brown was living in Saratoga in the late 1700s. My Browns also lived there but have not been able to establish a connection to him. Sonja
Was there a Christopher Brown? I'd like to find him and see who his children are. He came in on a ship in 1729. I checked all the ships records and he's the only Brown I found. No Valentine. Christopher landed in Pa. Wanda --- [email protected] wrote: > There was a Valentine Brown living in Stillwater or > Saratoga, Saratoga (then > Albany Co.,) NY in the late 1780s-90s. There was a Valentine Brown living in Stillwater or Saratoga, Saratoga (then Albany Co.,) NY in the late 1780s-90s. Check out the website for Saratoga.
I've lost a file I received concerning Robert Brown of Carmyllie, listing 6 Generations of the Brown Family. To connections to the Binnie Family namely Charles Binnie 1899-1982. Alistair Bell.

Hi Barbara, Yes I belong to FT. My number is QGW8J and I just compared to your brothers and I don't see a match - if I'm reading it right. I grew up and still reside in northern Minnesota. Hi Everyone: I have an obituray notice of my grandmothers , Clara Daniels DeCamp. In it is is listed her sisters, Phoebe Brown of Washington. My grandmother died in 1941. I have the name of Augustus Brown, I don't know if this is correct or not. My grandmother was born in Iowa and I am assuming Phoebe was born there too. Phoebe's date of birth would be about 1876. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Lee Ann Collins [email protected]
There are MANY Valentine Browns, the one listed on the rootsweb archive website is from my collection as a descendent of Volentine Brown b1805 The elder Valentine Brown, sr bc1745-55 is thought to be the "relative" of Volentine Brown, Jr, but no direct paper trail has been found in my 30 years of research. I am still attempting to link these Osborns with my g2 grandfather Daniel P. Osborn of Newton County, MO. I would be interested in who you have identified as siblings to William Wiley Osborn and do you know where he is buried. I believe that William Wiley's father was William Osborn b. 1780 in VA and that the elder William died in Jasper County between 1850-1860. I have read that the elder is buried (unmarked) in a neglected and abandoned cemetery in Jasper County. The name of the cemetery escapes me at the moment but I can look it up if you would like to know. I found the mention in Colleen Belk's transcriptions of the Jasper County Cemeteries. Now that I think about it I believe that the name is/was Sidenstrecker. It is listed on the USGenWeb site for Jasper County, MO. Anything that you know about this family prior to their settlement in southwest MO would be appreciated. I know that they came to MO from SC via Middle TN. ------------------------------- To unsubscribe from the list, please send an email to [email protected] with the word 'unsubscribe' without the quotes in the subject and the body of the message Sent from my BlackBerry® wireless device
