Catherine (in the original post) was one of at least twelve children, possibly more. Her parents were Michael Edward Brougham (~1815-1892) and Maria Burrell (~1831-1893). One of her siblings was, it seems, the g-grandfather mentioned by cucobird, who went by the alias of Lynn J Adams. This man was also my g-grandfather, making cucobird and myself second cousins. Cucobird: I would like to connect with you, as I have some information about Adams/Brougham that may be of interest to you, and I think you might have some for me as well; I am attempting to piece together his back-story, before he married Rita, and it's a tough line to follow, as I'm sure you know.
