Greetings from Jean McKee's sister, Elizabeth Brooks McKee Lewis! Delighted to learn about you and your parents, who must visit our Brooks Homestead in Cheshire. Jean and I spent summers there growing up and now she is there often. My husband and I return usually July/August. Our 2 daughters, Linda Brooks Lewis McCoy and Elizabeth Brooks Lewis Panke, and our 8 grandchildren including Whitney Brooks McCoy, Elizabeth Brooks Panke, Rachel Brooks Lewis (our son's daughter) usually drive east to visit. An important tradition is an afternoon at Hillside Cemetary, where Thomas et al are buried. Doing our best to imbue them with a sense of our family's place in history!
