    3. In looking through my grandmother's old, turn-of-the-century scrapbooks today, I discovered a lengthy newspaper article about Capt. Garry Brooks, upon the occasion of his turning 100 years old. Capt. Brooks was born on July 5, 1806, in New Milford, CT, and was the son of Samuel Louis Brooks, from the Revolutionary War. He lived in Monroe County, NY from 1824 until the time of his death. This is a pretty long news article, and I'm wondering where the best place would be for me to submit the transcribed article. Obviously, I could do it at this site, but I have noticed things from other genealogy sites are also copied onto this list. Would it be better for me to type it first on, say, Ancestry.com's Brooks list - and then it could be copied here? The news article also gives some info on Samuel Louis Brooks and his experiences in the Revolutionary War. What would y'all suggest? _________________________________________________________________ Get your FREE download of MSN Explorer at http://explorer.msn.com/intl.asp.
