The number of mislabeled files is fewer than I thought -- but since I urged readers to delete everything previously sent, it will be safest, I think, for me to simply resend all, and then complete the year 1800 for the six New England states plus New York state. So -- please delete anything previously received with the subject line including "Census index." I will resend, within a few minutes, all the files which are completed with a LEADING ASTERISK in the subject line to distinguish them. Then I'll complete 1800 by states, send along those files, and I'll be done with it. The goal of this exercise is not to bore you all to death, but to provide researchers with access to more tools.
