I've extracted the Middlesex Co. men from LISTS & RETURNS OF CONNECTICUT MEN IN THE REVOLUTION, 1775 - 1783, Connecticut Historical Society, Hartford, 1909, and there are now four files on line, 1775, 1777-1779, 1781, & 1783. If anyone was lucky enough to have an ancestor who served on the FRIGATE TRUMBULL in 1783, there's a chance that you may find a physical description of him as the records give age, height, and coloring for the majority of the sailors.
