    1. [BNE] 1810 Census - St. Albans, Franklin Co., VT
    2. In the 1810 VT index these Brooks are listed for Franklin County: Asa, Eli, Elizer, and Harrington I looked up the actual census page 277 and found that the names were very difficult to read and that two of the names were abbr. which lead to the incorrect reading of Asa and Eli. Page 277 St. Albans, Franklin Co., VT - Eleazer Brooks 2M 0-9 1M 10-15 1M 26-44 2F 0-9 1F 26-44 An. (must be Adonijah Jr.) Brooks 2M 0-9 1M 16-25 1M 26-44 1F 0-9 1F 26-44 Az. (would be Azariah) Brooks 1M 16-25 1M 45+ 1F 0-9 1F 45+ Harrington Brooks 1M 16-25 1F 0-9 1F 16-25 Chris - you had referenced a Harrington Brooks on the 1800 census in Middletown, Rutland Co., VT. I can't find him in the VT index nor the census. Can you check on this? Cindy Schroeder

Here's what my census index gives for Rutland County, VT, 1800: RUTLAND COUNTY: Jonas, Orwell, 10010-00100-00 Joseph, Ira, 31010-10010-00 Peter, Clarendon, 40010-10010-00 Thomas, Benson, 21010-22010-00 No Harrington. I double-checked my data and have nothing for Harrington between his birth, c. 1787, and militia service in 1808. Chris
