    1. Re: Silas 1790 from Sterling, MA
    2. Christopher Brooks
    3. Congratulations, Cole, on working this out. I know how long you've been at it Your grandmother is smiling right now. :-) I've sent you a file on Silas privately, but here's your Brooks line, in hopes of smoking some cousins out of our population of list lurkers: 7. Silas (1788-1815), b. Sterling, d. Winchendon. (Winchendon, MA and Fitzwilliam , NH abut each other on the state line.) 6. Ammi (1765-1815) + Lucy (no dates), of Sterling & Winchendon. 5. John Jr. (b. 1734) + Katherine DUNSMORE, of Chocksett parish, West Lancaster (which became Sterling). 4. John (b. 1709+ + Hannah CUTTER (1715-1742), of Lancaster. 3. Jabez (1673-1747) + 2w Hepsibah CUTTER (1671-1746), of Woburn. 2. John (d. 1691) + Eunice MOUSALL (d. 1684), of Woburn. 1. Henry (d. 1683) + unnamed 1st wife, of Concord and Woburn. I find only one Augusta Fisk on my CD of Worcester County VR, and she a bridesmaid in 1848, but had better luck searching for John Whitney, and will send you privately the notes I received from Allan Green of the Whitney Research Group. We have at least half a dozen subscribers descending from Jabez/3 of Woburn. I hope you'll hear from some of them whose Brooks branches are not too distant from your own.
