The Josiah/3 mentioned, born in 1681 at Swansea, Bristol, MA, is too early and quite mislocated for you. Don't you have enough Brooks complexities without looking for more? :-) > I have numerous Wright connections, so am interested in > Tabitha's parentage, and would assume John's sister refered to > in will as Anna RIGHT married a sibling or other relative of > hers? That's an eminently sensible assumption. I haven't been able to identify the Wright husband. > Am interested in John's first wife's name since Kingsley, > and Cole mentioned as his first wife's kin are cousins to me > (Cole and Kingsley are direct lines) and John Brown mentioned > as kin to her is also connected through marriage, I checked the > Tributaries site for this and apologize if I missed it. John's first wife was Martha COLE, his second Tabitha WRIGHT. I don't know anything more about Lt. John Brown than his name and his status as a parent. In the next couple of days I'll try to get the children of Capt. Timothy/2 uploaded to the web site, together with some of the 23 (!) relatives identified in his son John/3's will. It's a gold mine of information. But it's also a complex and extended family network for which I have large amounts of data still to enter, thanks to many other researchers who've shared on this line. Because the picture is multi-family, it really is best understand as a web, which means HTML. I'll split the difference at this point and commit to throwing up a very preliminary, but accurate (if quite underfleshed) skeleton of this branch.
