    3. Well, amazing what one can find in a single paragraph (John Brooks b. 1662 Woburn's will). I have the great joy and confusion of being direct line to Timothy-John's father. John's sister Hepsibeth Brooks Mason is a GGM. However, according to family stories, it is Capt. Thomas who is responsible for my GF's last name of Brooks, but we have not found the connection yet, although have learned we are related to his kin through a few marriages into other direct lines. And have learned that William Brooks of Deerfield's kin married several 1st and 2nd and other cousins out in Franklin Co, MA-where my 4th, 3rd and 2nd GGFs were raised. So, I carry info on all 3 lines while still trying to figure out which is my bloodline Brooks-and at least have a good reason now why family stories claim so many Brooks stories-because I really am related in some way to all 3 of these men! Of names mentioned in this will, I am interested in Josiah Brooks of West Jersey-my 4th GGF Salmon of my "direct line" (name) Brooks was b. 1795 in Shutesbury, MA (per death record which shows no parents), he had a son Josiah. Maybe this is why I can't find Salmon's parents, since they left MA??? Am wondering about any connections for the West Jersey Brookses to Genessee Co., NY, if any (a Salmon Brooks of same age is found there, and name/spelling Salmon isn't that common). I have numerous Wright connections, so am interested in Tabitha's parentage, and would assume John's sister refered to in will as Anna RIGHT married a sibling or other relative of hers? (I also have Salisbury connections, and Martin connections.) Am interested in John's first wife's name since Kingsley, and Cole mentioned as his first wife's kin are cousins to me (Cole and Kingsley are direct lines) and John Brown mentioned as kin to her is also connected through marriage, I checked the Tributaries site for this and apologize if I missed it. Thank you to all who share on this site, and in advance for any more light that is shed. Am always happy to share what I have if anything I've written is of interest.
