In regards to the listing for Alexander Brooks of Richland County Ohio: Note the following possible links: John Brooks ( origins still unknown) born about 1754 in ? and lived in Greenwich Cumberland County New Jersey. Married Judith Robinson of the same area in 1784 in the Greenwich Presbyterian Church in Greenwich, NJ.( Loomis Library in Greenwich) The moved to 10 Mile Creek in Greene County PA by the time that their youngest son Noah E. Brooks was born in 1899. Noah was living in Richland Cty Ohio at the time of John Brooks death in Greene County in 1824 as noted in John's Probate in Greene County. I do not know of any children of Noah E. other than my ancester, Simeon Brooks, who moved with his father to Dekalb Illinois then on to Lind County in Wisconsin by 1854. Both Noah and Simeon are in the GLO records as buying land at that time along Hatton Creek. Perhaps checking census in the above locations will be helpful. Carol Brooks
