Betsy b > circa 1804 in Mass daughter of Isaac and Polly (Longgon) Mears of Mass. > (The Mears line is in Middlesex Co, Tewksbury, Mass for many years). > Isaac Mears moved his family to Vermont circa 1810. > Known children of Asa/Asahel and Betsy Brooks: > (1) Harvey Brooks b circa 1827, NY > (2) Polly Brooks b 1828 NY, *** my ancestor > (3) Henry Brooks b circa 1833 Penn > I have not yet located a marriage date for my Asa Brooks and Betsey Mears. Their first known child was born circa 1827 NY. Betsey was in her parents household in 1820 VT, Bennington County, Sandgate Twp; so I am assuming that they married sometime after 1820 and before 1826. I thank those that responded.
