I have two Roswell Brooks in my line. One is the son of Thomas Brooks, the revolutionary soldier who died in Chenango County, New York. And Thomas' grandson, son of Socrates. My grandfather, Castello Holford, married Samantha Jeanette (Jennie) Brooks in Grant County, Wisconsin. They were married in the house of her Aunt, Lucy Brooks Cooper.
