I found only the following: Benjamin/5 BROOKS, b. 1 Jun 1762, Lancaster, Worcester, MA; married, ca 1787, Deborah CARTER, with whom 8 children; of Charlemont, MA, 1793; "After [John Brooks] died, [his son] Benjamin and Deborah (Carter) Brooks moved to Jefferson Co., NY." <Hill> "They were in Jefferson County by 1808 and stayed there about 20 years." <Anderson> "In 1827 he and all but one of his children moved to Ohio.
