I have been looking for birth/baptism and marriage records in Mayo for the relatives whose names I know, but have not found anything. I found marriage records in Mayo for several people named William Brogan, but none is married to Bridget McGinty. His parents are William Brogan and Bridget McGinty Brogan. John immigrated to the U.S. about 1870, and settled in Jessup, PA. He married Elizabeth (aka Bessie) Healy and they had 12 children: William, Bridget, Mary, Catherine, Margaret, James, Ellen, John, Patrick, Edward, Thomas, and Elizabeth. About 1889 John and his family moved to Yonkers, NY, where John died on July 23, 1891. John had a brother Edward, and likely had other siblings.
