    2. Charles Lewis Broadwater, born 1752 VA, Lt. in the Civil War, married Behethelund Sebastian, died 1841 in VA. (Source, DAR Patriot Index, Centennial Edition, Part I, pg. 372). Lt. Broadwater is buried on the road to Vienna, VA not far from the Fairfax Courthouse near the site of the Broadwater homestead "Springfield." His gravestone is inscribed Lieut. Charles L. Broadwater, VA. Regiment, Revolutionary War. Source, "Career of Col.
