Mine is Charles Broadwater, who was in Va in 1785. Born about 1755 married Nancy born bef 1765 dau Mary Polly b abt 1775, she married James Early Mar 18, 1807 Charles was in 1810 census of Botetourt Co Va Had sons Wm and John, 5 daughters. Chas was in Jackson Co Tn. Came to Missouri territory 1814. Owned land in Lincoln co Mo 1836. James Early's son owned land near Charles in Lincoln Co Mo in 1836. Don't know if James and Mary Polly came to Mo. Charles Early is my g-grandfather. If you are working on this same Broadwater would like to hear from you.
