If anyone is looking for decendants of the Cornelius Broadwater family, there is a paper (over 50 pages) now out of print written by Wayne Bittinger in 1988. It is titled "A Broadwater Family History." It can be found in the Ruth Enlo library in Grantsville, Maryland, or the Fairfax Historical Society in Fairfax, Virginia. It may also be at the Balch Library in Leesburg, Virginia. It is for reference only but you can copy it. I have a copy of it and I also have the Amos Broadwater paper. The Wayne Bittinger paper is excellent and has documentation of his research. Cornelius had a brother, Charles, who moved south and that's all anybody knows.
