Jami, I visited the Scott Co, VA courthouse in 1990 & did some research on Broadwater & that is what I have been posting to the list. Alas it is limited as my focus of research was on Matney & Nickels surname. What I found has been posted to the List, but Dan can repost some. What I had was what was posted just the other day on John Broadwater family. There were cemetery records I believe were in another post. I'm going to be looking at the archives to see about reposting some about the Charles Broadwater family of Fairfax Co, VA & ties to Sebastian, Dalton & Mattingly. Looking forward to learning more about the Scott Co, VA Broadwaters. I have a hunch we are related. So far attempts to find someone there of the family doing research has not been fruitful. Many do live around Nickelsville in Scott Co. Carol in WA
