Hello, I am trying to find more information on James Broadwater and Elizabeth Harford/ Hereford (and many other spellings). I have a copy of a Gift Deed signed by Mark Harford in 1772 Craven Co., NC. where Mark Harford deeded over 50 acres to his beloved son in law James Broadwater. This is the sum total of information I have on them. I would like to know more about them, such as who were James's parents, where did James and Elizabeth live, and any other information that may be known. Also I have a note on a William Willcocks will dated 1796 and a Joshua Broadwaters and John Harfore are the witnesses. Can anyone tell me anything about these people?
