    3. Is there anyone that has Broadwaters from Craven Co in their family line? I seem to have the "Black sheep" families. I can not find anyone that has a James Broadwater that married Elizabeth Harford/ Hereford around 1772 in Craven County. I have seen other marriages here and there for Broadwater in Craven County at the turn of the 1800's but have yet to find them on a census! If anyone has any information or suggestions, I will greatly welcome them. Tassy guentasa@flash.net

    3. Carol and Dan, I am sorry that I haven't gotten this to you before but my mom who is 93 and lives with us has been very sick. I haven't had time to concentrate on putting this together, but Mary Catherine Matney who married Ira Culbertson happens to be my ggrandmother and that is my link to the Matney line. I am sorry for being so slow. Thank you both so very much and I really appreciate all your hard work and information. I truly enjoy the Matney List. 2. Rodney & Tassy Guenther
    3. Hello, I am trying to find more information on James Broadwater and Elizabeth Harford/ Hereford (and many other spellings). I have a copy of a Gift Deed signed by Mark Harford in 1772 Craven Co., NC. where Mark Harford deeded over 50 acres to his beloved son in law James Broadwater. This is the sum total of information I have on them. I would like to know more about them, such as who were James's parents, where did James and Elizabeth live, and any other information that may be known. Also I have a note on a William Willcocks will dated 1796 and a Joshua Broadwaters and John Harfore are the witnesses. Can anyone tell me anything about these people? I have alot of information on Elizabeth's family to share. Hope to hear from you, Tassy Guenther guentasa@flash.net
