    3. My Broadhurst family arrived in the US in 1842 from Liverpool. There was Sarah, 52yrs, John 20yrs, Elisabeth 16yrs, Samuel 11yrs, and Geroge 9yrs. (My Great- Grandfather). A few months later James 28yrs arrived. I do not find these people again until the 1870 census in Howard Co. MD. where most of their ancestors and my relatives areliving today. In that census they are listed as Broadbent. My father always said the family came from Lansashire, Eng. So far I've had no luck. My quess is that the father's name was John, my Dad said Samuel??? Like many families---my Dad said that there were 3 or 4 brothers that came together, probably just before 1842, then he sent for his family??? Dad always said we were somehow connected with the Broadhurst Theater in NY city. I haven't found that out yet either ! My allied families connected with the Broadhurst are: Needler/Kneedler, Boardman, Snowden, Selby. I counld use some help in locating the family from 1842 to 1870, and/or possible brothers for John/Samuel in t he 1840 time frame? Thanks, Gloria Osborn
