A neighbor of mine, with early Broadhurst roots in England, received the email below from her relative in England, and with her permission I reproduce it below in the hope that some persons on this list have a connection and can get in touch with her.... Art Broadhurst From: Reg and Pam Broadhurst Sent: Sunday, January 18, 2015 10:39 AMTo: crowlinson@att.netSubject: broadhurst genealogy Dear Lyn Yesterday I posted to you some photocopied letters and family trees originally sent to Reg by a cousin of his, (Mrs E.B. Taylor, nee Barbara Pearson ) some years back. They may be of interest to your neighbours. I apologize for the pieces of paper stuck in a couple of places where the photocopier missed bits. I have 2 further sheets of Broadhursts from Great Sankey (near Warrington) assembled by the same Tony Broadhurst mentioned in the letters. However, there is no further information on them beyond names and dates of birth. I could send them to you if they were thought to be of interest. 50 years ago there were very few Broadhursts in the telephone book for South Manchester. Today there are a lot more but I don’t know any of them, except my daughter-in-law . If Art is bitten by the genealogy bug I could send photocopies or copy emails of a letter by him to people in this area to see if any of them are genealogists and could provide information. Love from Pam.
