They were both born about 1805 and he died approx 1854. They were married in Howard, Missouri, and then moved on to Ray County, Missouri from there. I have land records for John Nichols in Ray County, Missouri and a probate record listing family members who wanted part of his estate. But no children are listed. Looking to discover if they had any children. Also, did he serve in the military? In researching John, I've found military records for a John Nichols over in Richmond, Missouri about 4 years after they move to Ray County, from April 1828-April 1835, first at Jefferson Barracks and then in Fort Leavenworth, Kansas. Is this the same John Nichols? Any clues you have to add to my Isabella Broadhurst and John Nichols' story would be helpful. Thanks!
