One of my collateral COWAN lines m. into the SWANK family, then a daughter m. into the SCHLEPPY family. One of their daughters, Elsa M., m. Claude BROADERS. I have very little information on this family link. They were probably living in Ohio or Indiana at this time. Are they familiar to anyone? My husband has BROADHURSTs in his ancestors (pronounced now by his elderly aunt in Missouri as "Broadus").
