But you may be interested to know that there were not many with the "Broadhurst" name in Ireland at that time. It is interesting that your James was born in Dublin as was my gggrandfather, William, I do not have the date of his marriage or death. I only know he married an "Anne". I have only been able to track the names of 3 of their children, my great grandfather, William Joseph, his brothers, Thomas and John. William was transported to Australia, Thomas migrated to the Americas and John died in 1848 leaving an only child that he had named after his brother Thomas. So after all this rambling, the point I am making is that it could be a possibility that your James and my William could have been brothers or 1st cousins.
