    3. Hello. I am a new subscriber to the Broadhurst mailing list. I have some information on Professor Robert A. Broadhurst of Midway Kentucky. I saw a Beth Carroll on the listing from a few years ago. I would like to see if I can connect with her in regard to some pictures she had in an album. I believe she is not related to him. If anyone is interested in pursuing this line I have some information which I am sharing. This is not all that I have, but may help those who are interested to connect to me. He was the principal of the Kentucky Female Orphan School in Midway Kentucky, 1858 -1871. He was 59 years old in the 1870 census. Mary Louise Broadhurst Hopkins gave the place of her father's birth as Wales. This was from her 1880 census. 3. I am interested in knowing more about Robert Augustus Broadhurst. He was the minister who married my great grandparents, David Thompson Broaddus and Sandusky M. Murphy in 1877 in Garrard Co., Kentucky. My interest is mainly in his career as a minister for the Disciples of Christ and as an educator.
