Seeking information on BROADHURST line, ancestors of Joseph BROADHURST (b. abt 1750) and Mary CHARLESWORTH. Joseph and Mary had a son, William BROADHURST (m. Sarah WARDLE), whose son John BROADHURST (m. Mary GRUNDY) had a son James BROADHURST, b. 1838 in Ashby de la Zouch, who was my great grandfather. I am also seeking information about other children of Joseph and William so that I can trace collateral lines. The ultimate question I am seeking to answer is whether there is any connection to other BROADHURST families that came to Virginia and/or Pennsylvania, in colonial days.
