    3. Too soon old, too late wise - it never occurred to me to look for such files! Well, I'm not a Brit, I'm an American, so maybe I have a bit of an excues. My relatives were not in West Yorkshire (as far as I know), but maybe some kindly Brit can tell me if there are similar files available for other parts of England? Specifically, I have grandparents who were in London (not sure by what route they got to London) and had a child born there. Might I be able to find files like this, if I knew where to look? Can anyone tell me where to start looking? 3. What a great resource. Given the many joys of searching for people who never spelt their names the same in two consecutive documents it is possible to browse the complete list of aliens Go to advanced search. http://catalogue.wyjs.org.uk/advanced.aspx?src=CalmView.Catalog Do an any word search for WYP/LE, then click on entry "19. Aliens", then up at the top click on "section".
