A few more leads to following regarding the inquiry regarding the connection between Adrian Charles Cuthbert Seligman and Charles Gabriel Seligman: The 1906 Jewish Encyclopedia has an extensive piece on the Seligman family including a family tree:  http://www.jewishencyclopedia.com/articles/13403-seligman.  By the way, the company the family founded was J & W Seligman and Company which was an abbreviation for Joseph & William Seligman. The grandfather of Adrian Seligman was Isaac Seligman and Isaac had a son Charles David Seligman who married Eva Merton which does not look like it is the Charles Seligman mentioned in the original posting. In the Palgrave Dictionary of Anglo-Jewish History, one can find Charles Gabriel Seligman (1873-1940) and his wife Brenda Zara Salaman (1885-1965).  CG Seligman was the son of a wine merchant.  The online copy of the Palgrave Dictionary is missing the page with the entirety of the piece on the Seligmans, so you would have to get it from the library.
