    3. Rabbi Leslie Edgar, born 1905 son of Alfred & Rose Etgart (name changed 1916) , died on 21 February 1984, . The Liberal Jewish Synagogue burial records show that some of his ashes were interred in Plot 4.E.05. The first person to be buried in this grave was Benjamin Gerchenovitch, subsequently Benjamin's wife Irene's ashes were interred in this grave and followed by the ashes of Alfred, Rose and Phyllis Edgar I want to know the relationship between Gerchenovitch and Edgar. Ancestry.uk only finds a B. Gerchenovitch, in phone book records. Does anyone know about him? Bryan Diamond

    3. I see that Benjamin died in 1980 and Irene in 1988. Maybe their death certificates will shed some light. Bejamin (sp.) Gerchenovitch b. 1911 D. Jan-Feb-Mar 1980; Vol. 15, pg. 2462 Westminster, London You can track Irene in the voter lists from 1945 to 1965. Maybe the addresses will suggest a connection. Hope this is helpful.
