Hi, Im trying to confirm which is the correct date of death for my relative Harry Richman.  He is the son of Annie and Yosel Richman.  He died in Lithuania.  She died in Leeds (North) 1935 aged 86. I have been given help with possible dates of demise for Harry or Harold Richman -  Born about 1887 died 1969 Bury Lancs Born about 1883 died 1962 Wallessy Chesire I have been told by my cousin that he recalls that in circa 1935 (probably when Annie died) Harry/Harold was taken to a home for the mentally ill.  How would I find a mental institute in either Bury or Wallessy thus confirming where he died and is possibly buried. Angie, A minor point, but it might help, Wallasey, which is in the Wirral area across the Mersey from Liverpool, is spelt like that. That might suggest that Rainhill asylum on the other side of the river would be a likely place. For Bury, I guess that Prestwich asylum would be likely. I wonder if Liverpool archives and the Greater Manchester County Record Office respectively might have registers of deaths, admissions etc that could help you?
