Dear Listers My GGG grandmother, Rachel Phillips, nee Jacobs, died in Paddington, London, in 1903 aged 97. She was the widow of Simon Phillips, furrier, of Cutler St, London, who died in 1845. At least 2 sons, Asher and Morris (my GG grandfather) migrated to Australia and established families there. I would be grateful if some kind person who subscribes to the Jewish Chronicle can provide me with a copy of Rachel Phillips’ obituary notice. (JC, Oct 3, 1903).
