Hi Cynthia I won't be needing a copy of the Jewish Chronicle obituary notice of October 2, 1903 myself as I also got a very good copy of the full page - via John Simmons, of the BJ list. Thank you John. Incidently, in case there are descendants who read BJ, Rachel Phillips died 23rd September, 1903. Details from the obituary: she was the widow of Simon Phillips [died London 1845] and last surviving child of Isaac Jacobs, of Sheerness; mother of Mrs Charles Davis [Anne], of Maida Hill, John Phillips, of Bradford, and Laurence Phillips, of Notting Hill. Two sons had emigrated to Australia: Asher Phillips, died in Sydney in May 1889, and Morris Phillips, died in Melbourne in October 1905. Morris was my GG grandfather and was not mentioned in his mother's death notice. Thanks to BJ for your help. Best wishes.
