I am currently researching some family members who settled in Nottingham and Manchester who were originally from Lomza, Poland.  They arrived in the UK between 1875 and 1885.  I am wondering if anyone knows of other immigrants from Lomza who also settled in this area.  I'm told that Nottingham/Manchester was not a common choice of settlement of Jews from Lomza.  Any help would be appreciated. Hi Pete, doubt this will help, but for what it's worth a) My Gt Grandparents started off in Manchester in 1897 and b) my other Grandfather was a member of the Lubiner & Lomza stiebl in London, so I can let you have some info on this shul.
