I am a Marks researcher and my Marks family lived in Liverpool. I have been e-mailed by someone who would like to contact a direct descendant of Leon Marks also of Liverpool who died in 1878 in Liverpool leaving a widow called Esther. Their census entry for 1871 shows Leo Marks a watchmaker was born in Prussia ca 1814 and not a British citizen. His wife Esther was born in London ca 1823 and the same census shows that one of their daughters Amelia married Isidor Berliner born in Russia. My contact has a religious book containing family entries for this Marks/Berliner family and I would be very grateful if you could help me put him in touch with them. Evelyn Wilcock. London.
