Hi Terry, I saw your post re Rachel Phillips and wondered if you've come across a Solomon Phillips while researching?  I know very little about him except that he's named as my GGG grandmother's father, deceased, on her (second?) marriage certificate in 1900. My grandmother was originally from Poland but was in London from at least 1851 until her death. She had several different surnames on documents and has always been a bit of a mystery to me.
