Dear all, some time ago I noticed mention on the list of Aaron NUNES MARTINES. I have been steadily adding to my Tree and seem to be getting nonwhere much,although I have just discovered that he may well be my3x GGrfather. I now have himas married to Benvenida \ Welcome de Joseph.Her farher seems to be Josepf nunes Martines. Constant name changes Mixed with Hebrew names and Patronymics mahe this an endless nightmare to try and unravel.Does anyone have any further info on the family. I take it that they were Sehardi's because of the Potuguese name,although I have foun Hannah MARTIN who was almost definitely the dahgter of Aaron and married in the gs on 30 aug 1835. I cna only assume that she was married at least three times ,but I cannot match the spouses. Any further info would be much appreciated. Hannah was the Mother of my Great grandmother Welcome who married Philip Nelson,again in the GS. 18 Jan 1854. again I need help trcing Philip as I can't find anything for him in any census.they left London on 06 Jan 1859 for Melbourne aboard the Prince of Wales,arriving in Melbourne in March of that year.
