    3. Dear Peter, It was interesting to see your letter as I am researching the Abendana family who are cousins and married into the Nunes Martines Some go back together to the Rodrigues Ribeiro family and our joint great great (manytimes) grandparents are Palomba Mizrachi married to RODRIGUES RIBEIRO It is a very complicated family and they are Spanish Portuguese origin. The names are repeated continually and their records can be found in the Bevis Marks Records, Births, marriages, Kutuzov and Deaths and Cemetery records. There are certain members who have fuller trees that I have and I find it all totally overwhelming but wonderful. My great great step grandmother was Rachel NUNES MARTINES who married her cousin RAPHAEL ABENDANA after his first wife Jessie ISRAEL died. Their common ancestor was Palomba MIZRAHI who married a RODRIGUES RIBEIRO. I cannot search at the moment, but perhaps next week will try to look at my books. With best wishes andlots of good luck, Louise in London ----- Original Message ----- From: "Peter Nelson" <pne25074@bigpond.net.au> To: "british-jewry" <british-jewry@rootsweb.com> Sent: Friday, September 12, 2008 1:40 AM Subject: [BRITISH-JEWRY] Aaron Nunes Martines > Dear all, > some time ago I noticed mention on the list of Aaron NUNES MARTINES. > I have been steadily adding to my Tree and seem to be getting nonwhere > much, although I have just discovered that he may well be my3x GGrfather. > I now have himas married to Benvenida \ Welcome de Joseph. Her farher seems > to be Josepf nunes Martines.
