    3. G'day Scott, Wills are relatively easy to get hold of and I urge you to do so, because the information in them IMHO is fabulous. You often get relatives you never knew existed and our ancestors were much better than us at knowing precise relationships, so if they say "my 3rd cousin" that is exactly what they mean. See http://www.british-jewry.org.uk/beyondbasics/wills.htm for information on how to get the will of Sophia. I have looked in the 1891 census but can't find any entries that match so I suspect that they did not arrive in UK until after 1891. Congrats to Broncos in play-offs and don't mention NZ to anyone from Melbourne (sorry guys-I have a man in the house who was wearing a Storm shirt and a Warriors cap-most conflicted ;-)) Best wishes Sherry Landa (23170, Viersat, FRANCE) I am searching for any of the name Morwitch, in England. Some brick walls have arisen, but I still feel certain that there are relatives of brothers Samuel, Abraham Henry and Lyons Morwitch that I have not found. There is reference to Raphael Morwitch, father of Dora who married Abraham Jacobs in the 1901 census. I would welcome any assistance offered to work back up this family line. The Jewish Chronicles ran a notice in the Wills and Bequests section in 1933 - "Mrs Sophia Morwitch, of 1 Madeira Court, Madeira Place, Brighton, who left estate of the gross value of £19,881, after making various bequests, left the residue of her property to the Brighton Jewish Synagogue subject to the erection of a suitably inscribed memorial to her husband and herself." Could somebody suggest a method or point of contact that might reveal this information or help me with same ?
