Dear Louise, Anything you may find on this family or the Nelson Family would be very much appreiated. It seems impossible to search any Bevis Marks Records on the Web,unless you know of something out there. I have also tried the 1851 site but I am sure there are a few errors there on Martines.It's all so confusing with these family intermarriages and I am really at a loss - not even sure that what little I have managed to obtain is correct anymore. Dear Peter, not everything is n the 1851 site. I still have loads to send them i.e HART, ABENDANA, GILBERG , etc. I think the Bevis Marks REcords are available at the Mormons (Latter Day Saiants) Ihave a set and can do look ups, but not today. I found a list of Descendents of Jose Nunes Martines from 19 May 2003. On it is Benvenida Martin born? died 1852 married 1784 Aaron Martin born 13 Jan. 1756 died 1832 they had 6 chldren. Joseph, Moses, Abraham who married Rachel Dias, David who married Leah Rodrigues Ribeiro ( I think the sister of my great great grandmother etc) an unnamed son and Abigail who married Joseph Martin in 1776. Benvenido had brother Solomon born 1781 . She seems tohave varous brothers and sisters and I need to trace them all back to see who their parents were which will take time. I think Rosemary Wenzerul who writes boosk for JGSGB might be able to help and I have left a message on her telephone. I hope you can wait patiently. with bet wishes, Louise in London were.r
