I am not sure how a Gedcom works. I have my system on Dorot. what i dont want is to receive it and get it tacked onto my tree. If it can stand alone, or if you can send me a linear report, that would help. I actually have a vague feeling that Benvenida might be a sister of my great great s tep granndmother Rachel who was married to Raphael Abendana. Dont be too hopeful as ti could be a cousin as they are both no 4 on thelist of hundreds. If it would help, I have a whole load of Nunes Martines in my tree, i can open gedcom, and match it against mine, and create new NM ged with all my info added to yours if your interested. Most of my info came from the Bevis Marks records. regards Josev King

Dear Josev, thank you for the offer. The trouble is that the 17 pages of Descendents from Jose Nunes Martines are all on hard copoy, paper, not the the computer. I have a few in my tree but did not want to overload it at the moment with too many NMs. So I have been looking at the Bevis Marks records and the 17 pages to try to work something out. I am actually missing the first page but cant remember who sent it to me! I have not been able to do much as Ihavebeen in Israel for a while this year. I did have a sudden spurt when I made a small tree up to gg grandpareants for my grandson's barmitzvah. I printed it out and tuck it together with tape. He has probablylost i by now. I also gave him several trees in outline from various sections of my family i.e. Hart, Abendana, Gilberg and Cohen/Prince. Can you send me a ged com that doesnt attach to my present tree but stands o n its own for reference?
