Dear Ray, Victoria, is fine. We don't expect your full street address, in fact, it's actively discouraged for safety reasons! It just helps to know who can go where for what. Now we know you can't go anywhere we'll give the same advice as we do for anyone without facilities on their doorstep (i.e those in Middle East are not sent to their nearest LDS library as they don't have one!) We all find the price of certificates shocking. Sadly, in UK some things you only get from a certificate and some things you don't get from them so it's a question of buying wisely. There are lots of people here who will do free census look ups etc for you-if you ask. What you need to do, is just tell people what you know (i.e. I know she died/was divorced between 1871 and the date of the remarriage, because I have her in the 1871 census OR I would like to find her in the censuses before 1878 so I can narrow down her death/divorce etc). Best wishes, Sherry (23170, Viersat, FRANCE) You ask where I am, for now lets just say I'm in Victoria <snip>
